About this piece
A three-piece, individually-balanced T6061 billet-aluminum platter spins on a Titanium-Nitride-coated stainless shaft in a precision silicone-bronze bushing. A 1" milled aluminum brace, stainless counterweights and an acrylic tonearm well further stiffen the structure, while four-point spring suspension isolates it from the outside world.
The optional vacuum system pulls each record dead-flat without noise or reliability issues — a long-time SOTA hallmark. Compatible with 120 V and 240 V, finished in American cherry or walnut, and backed by a two-year warranty.

Questions & Answers
What does the vacuum hold-down do?+
It gently pulls each record flat against the platter, improving stylus-to-groove contact for a clearer, more present sound — without the noise or reliability problems of clamp or peripheral-ring systems.
